Paññābhūmi: Theravāda Buddhist Monastery in Mexico

"Refrain from all evil, cultivate the good, purify the mind."

THE MONASTERY

Paññābhūmi: the fertile ground for wisdom.

A monastery dedicated to cultivating our most noble qualities: understanding, inner steadiness, and above all, wisdom.

A forest sanctuary where the monks practice and deepen in the Dhamma (the teaching of the Buddha), opening its doors two days a week so anyone can share this path and cultivate our highest potential together.

What's new

A Summer Camp group came up for a Dhamma session

On 4 August a group of children visited Paññābhūmi: they bowed before the Buddha, sat together in meditation and explored the Dhamma with Bhante Rāhula, and spent a good while running around asking questions.
